Why is it important?

Food safety regulations require all ‘food handlers’ to be appropriately trained in food safety. ‘Food handlers’ covers those preparing, selling and serving food. This is included in many job roles such as bar work, working in kitchens, waiters, working in care homes etc.

Health and Safety

  • Nationally recognised Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
  • Full day course to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
Why is it important?

Statutory requirement for staff to be appropriately trained in Health and Safety for the specific job role. This course covers a range of topics, providing suitable training for most job roles.

Manual Handling

  • Nationally recognised Level 2 Award in the Principles of Manual Handling
  • 3 hour course to achieve a nationally recognised qualification

Lift Truck Training

  • 1 to 5 day programme depending on previous experience covering both practical and theory.

Meets the statutory requirements for those operating industrial counterbalanced or reach lift trucks as part of their job role.
